Softball City is one of North America’s leading softball and slo-pitch sporting complexes. It is regarded as one of the best field-of-play venues of its kind. This venue is a full-service sports and entertainment facility, famous for its four championship-caliber softball diamonds, as well as the indoor restaurant and outdoor patios, overlooking all four lit fields.

In 2014-2016, the City of Surrey performed significant upgrades to Softball City, elevating it to the highest standards required for international play. The upgrades included world-class field surfaces and maximized absorption and playability, excellent lighting, backstops, dugouts, fencing, and additional high-quality seating for spectators.

Located in a picturesque park setting, Softball City possesses several key attributes including a spectacular natural setting, quality permanent grandstand on the main diamond, restaurant and clubhouse, and permanent washroom facilities.

Built in the early 1990s, Softball City has been the host venue for events of all levels of competition, from league games to provincial, national and international events. Softball City is the home park for the White Rock Renegades Minor Softball Association, the Douglas College Royals Women’s Softball team, and the annual Canada Cup International Softball Championship. It was also the competition venue for the 2016 WBSC Women’s World Softball Championship, hosting 30 national women’s team, as well as the 2019 WBSC Women’s Softball Olympic Qualifier.
